Negotiate contract terms – Negotiates the “legal” terms within supplier agreements and advises the Sourcing professional with respect to negotiating the “business” terms.
Draft simple and complex sourcing documents to include: supplier agreements, amendments, letters, clauses, etc. within the parameters of authority granted by the Legal Dept.
Provide independent analysis to the Sourcing team as to the interpretation of contract clauses and potential avenues to pursue in negotiating defensive and offensive contract claims.
Execute business objectives associated with risk management and the protection of Honeywell during contract, settlement, dispute, and other negotiations with the Honeywell suppliers.
Enable continuous improvement.
Maximize financial targets by ensuring that contracts and other agreements are negotiated within the parameters established by the Honeywell Legal Dept and the individual Honeywell businesses.
Lead initiatives, as required, to enhance the business and process capabilities of the Procurement Contracts Center of Excellence
Mentor others, to include junior members of the team and Sourcing customers with respect to proper contract negotiation and administration principles. Ensure provision of top-class service and high customer satisfaction
Work with the Sourcing and Business teams to resolve high-level disputes between Honeywell and Honeywell suppliers by providing interpretation of contract clauses, reviewing contract documents, providing potential strategies, etc.

YOU MUST HAVE
3-5 years of experience managing/negotiating contracts.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Commercial contracting and procurement experience including Intellectual Property, Export Control, and Uniform Commercial Code requirements desirable.
