YOUR FUTURE ROLE

Support the development of a comprehensive global sustainability and ESG strategy for GRF Data Center based on the company's ESG strategy and Net Zero roadmap.

• Support overall execution of the GRF sustainability and ESG strategy for the data center portfolio considering potential regional differences.
• Oversee energy optimization in data centers, manage sustainability and ESG reporting, establish and monitor ESG performance indicators in line with corporate goals, and handle sustainability audits.
• Drive innovation activities regarding sustainability and ESG in Data Center.
• Collaborate with other departments and teams within GRF to integrate ESG considerations into data center design and operations.
• Establish and maintain partnerships with external sustainability organizations and stakeholders and represent GRF as a thought subject matter expert in the area of Data Center.

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor's degree in sustainability, environmental science, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• A deep understanding of sustainability regulations, standards, and reporting frameworks in the data center environment (e.g. EEG, EED, EN50600). Specific knowledge of EU / German ESG legislation and regulation is required.
• Minimum of five years' experience in developing and executing global sustainability and ESG strategies within a Datacenter Organization with portfolios larger than 1MW capacity.
• Experience in working with and within globally distributed teams.
• Demonstrated strong ability collaborating amongst colleagues, senior leaders and stakeholders including external partners and suppliers.
• Record in value creation and innovation for Data Center Efficiency and Operations.
