As the lead engineer, your responsibilities will include working closely with our vendors to staff both the developer and QE teams, act as the technical point of contact for contractors, take ownership of problems and deliverables, lead quality engineering efforts, and organize engineering tasks to deliver the next generation of Find My features. You will be working closely with multi-functional teams, across several continents, to optimally coordinate the sophisticated interdependencies inherent to our ecosystem.

  • Very strong in leading others and hands-on, in programming, system design and problem solving
  • Strong Swift expertise - including but not limited to: Multithreading, non-blocking IO
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies including triaging, debugging, automating, testing
  • Experience driving release decisions, scoping work, and driving bug convergence Creating innovative ways to automate and expand our software testing
  • Experience in cross team collaboration and communication across multiple timezones
  • Strong understanding of common data structures and basic graph algorithms and hands on experience writing strong object-oriented code including creating automation frameworks and test scripts for large scale testing scenarios
  • Experience in C, C++ and working knowledge of cryptography standards and protocols (e.g.. PKCS, KMIP, X.509, AES, KDF, CA)
  • Experience in collaborating with distributed engineering teams
  • Experience in the AI/ML domain
