Production Quality Engineer Student
Job DescriptionDrive product quality improvement activities, using statistics and data analysis techniques to improve processes. Working with production, manufacturing engineering and suppliers quality in the areas of process control, quality control and assurance, data collection, failure analysis, corrective actions, reporting for early detection and correction and continuous improvement. Responsible for “real time” investigation of failures, finding root causes, issuing summarizing report and following-up corrective actions implementation.
You are responsible for
- Manage and follow-up on quality activities. Select and apply quality procedures and methods, appropriate inspection strategy and statistical techniques
- Responsible for non conformance events and investigations in the Factory- Participate and lead “real time” manufacturing line investigations, perform root cause analysis and containment, correction and corrective actions. Work with Production, Supply and Manufacturing Engineer personnel.
- Perform Quality Data Analysis- Interpret manufacturing outputs and customer inputs, examine trends, define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Establish and monitor quality/process control for high risk parts and high risk suppliers
- Lead change management for process changes in the factory – Be an active member in the production release of new products and changes in existing products.
- Plan and participate internal manufacturing audits and conduct self-improvement assessments as an auditor.
- NC/QN Management Process including Analysis of defect as part of Material Review board activities for non-conformance disposition management.
- Contribute to Operations performance monitoring, reporting, improvement and development. Integral part of improvement programs in factory.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following
- B.Sc. Student in Engineering
- At least 3 semesters till graduation
- Ability to work at least 3 days a week, preferably 4 days
