Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute revenue strategy that enables teams to exceed global advertising revenue targets

  • Build and lead a high-performing and diverse sales and account management globally

  • Responsible for delivering advertising revenue across PayPal Ads surface globally

  • Own and drive revenue growth by leading teams and participating fully in identifying upsell opportunities, best practice implementations, co-marketing programs, and jointly developing solutions that meet mutual customer needs and strategic objectives

  • Develop relationships and credibility required to effectively convey the value of PayPal’s solutions and vision to C-level executives

  • Negotiate favorable commercial terms, contracts, and agreements that create sustainable, long-term value for all parties and employ superior negotiation and communication abilities as an influencer while embodying integrity and trust

  • Accelerate results through superior pipeline management, navigating internal and external product roadmaps, and influencing resource allocation

  • As the voice of the customer, based on learnings and competitor analysis, provide valuable insights on product enhancements, new solutions, and go-to-market strategies

  • Understand the advertising industry to drive meaningful consumer experiences and business results for global advertisers

  • Prepare and give business reviews to PayPal and partner senior leadership

  • Partner with cross-functional leadership to align on sales structure, revenue targets and KPIs

  • Perform revenue modeling and forecasting to inform and optimize revenue organization strategy, priorities, and processes

  • Collaborate with operations, product and finance teams to inform ads surfaces/inventory, formats, targeting and pricing needed to enable advertisers to engage audiences across advertiser goals of awareness, trial and conversion

  • Work with the VP, Ad Operations to create joint business plans with major advertisers

  • Drive for results with a bias toward action based on a comprehensive strategy

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business Administration, or a related field Master or PhD preferred

  • 20+ years of experience in ad sales at media provider

  • 15+ years’ experience in leading ad sales globally

  • Deep understanding of the advertiser, agencies, and merchant branding and performance needs

  • Network and close working relationship with advertiser, agency decision-makers

  • Proven track record of building and managing a multi-million dollar advertising business

  • Farmer and hunter People Manager and Doer

  • Consistent achievement of sales quota on an individual and team level

  • Hired and managed highly successful ad sales organizations

  • Experience in scaling and developing internationally dispersed teams

  • Deep understanding of the advertiser, agencies, and advertiser branding and performance needs

  • Familiarity with incentive-based pay structure is the key to managing high-performing and motivated teams

  • Strong financial and business acumen with a high degree of comfort engaging with technical leaders internally and externally

  • Experience negotiating complex contracts and achieving favorable deal terms to the company

  • Superiorrelationship-buildingand exceptional consultative sales skills with a passion and hunger to win

  • Excellent sales skills and the ability to communicate complex ad solutions effectively

  • Successful track record building out sales organizations and partnerships with cross functional leaders

  • Ability to navigate altitudes (shifting between strategic and tactical)

  • Ability to synthesize complex information into the essential points to inform executivedecision-making

  • Outstanding communication and influencing skills

  • Results-oriented, analytical, self-motivated, and a “hands-on” leader with a proven ability to meet objectives/targets, develop and scale a team, and cultivate superb relationships with cross-functional teams

  • Travel required, as necessary for operations activities and leadership reviews

  • Experience and appreciation for cultural nuances when working internationally

  • Executive presentation skills; including in-person, written, and verbal
