About the Role

You will make the world move better for our software engineers through design, implementation and shipment of well tested features of our users. Everyday.

. You will work on problems that are not well-defined and span multiple related areas or projects. You will be responsible for working with other teams in organziation to design and scope problems into workable solutions

Basic Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software development experience
• BS, MS or PhD degree in computer science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience
• Excellent coding abilities
• Proficient in one or more backend languages, like Java, Go, C/C++, C#, with the ability to pick up new ones quickly.
• Experience in designing and building world-class software
• Experience with OpenTelemetry, and/or building and operating monitoring infrastructure at large scale. E.g. PB sized ES clusters, Prometheus, Kibana, Grafana, Jaeger, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using SQL in a production environment.
• Experience with dashboarding and using data visualization tools.
• Proficiency in building batch and real-time data pipelines
