Job Description
Hands-on Lead Engineethat willinnovative and transformationalat TD Securities -- the design and implementation of theTrading Riskplatform. The successful candidate willbe responsible forthe design and development ofa scalable,and high performing(Profit and Loss) reportthat will be ued by Risk Analysts, Front Office Traders, and Senior Executives. This istechnologies to solve problems of scale and speed.lead engineer, you will beworking onthe systembottleneck, providingutions quicklyto resolveproduction issuesas wella strong technical leadership to ensurequality of deliverablesin a timely manner.

Technical Skills
+ technical leadership experiencein leading engineering team delivering large scale and mission critical projects.
8+ years of Java/JEEexperience
5+ years ofexperience in the Spring tech stack and building microservices using Spring Boot
3+ years of experience in Scala/Spark.
Strong experience with Hadoop, Spark,Parquetor similar Big Data technologies.
Strong experience inLinux environment.
Experience in designing and integrating with REST APIs.
Experience working with messaging technologies (e.g.Kafka)
Experience with RDBMS, demonstrable fluency inSQL andany non-relationaldbsuch as Cassandra (is preferred).
Experience of Git, CI/CD toolset (Maven), Jenkins, working within an Agile environment
Understandingonbestpractices and design patterns.
Experiencedeveloping and managinghighlyscalable and low latency systems.
A passion forbringingbestproducts to the customer,simplifyingand automating work, for making things better, for being efficient and helping others.
Good communicationskills. Experience in collaborating efficiently within a global team.
Demonstrable experience working in a fast-paced environment, working with PMs and our business sponsors.
Nice to have - Hands-on experience with market risk and/orPnL(profit and loss)reporting.
