JOB DESCRIPTION
Duties and Responsibilities
  • This position requires the ability to work with minimal supervision or engineering oversight on a moderate level of engineering support tasks.
  • Prepares draft updates and/or maintenance to technical specifications related to Model Based Definition and Product Realization specifications.
  • Draft new specifications based on inputs fromEngineers and other Subject Matter Experts.
  • Facilitates reviews with other parties such as Production Control, Quality Engineering, Inspection, Product Engineering and Operations before final release to minimize subsequent changes.
  • Reviews documents for consistency and administrative accuracy.
  • Review and revise related manufacturing, process or inspection documents.
  • Prepare and assist in the delivery of digital engineering training and documentation to theworkforce.
  • Assist in establishing and performing production readiness reviews.
  • Assist Engineers with other work as required related to Digital Engineering.
  • Conduct activities in a safe and healthy manner and works in accordance with established HS&E requirements to ensure the protection of employees, the public, and the environment.
  • Takes actions necessary to "stop" work when an unsafe condition or action is identified. Every employee has the right and responsibility to stop work when unsafe conditions or actions are identified.
You Must Have
  • Bachelor degree or two additional years of direct work experience in lieu of a Bachelors degree.
  • Two or more years experience in a similar position working in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience required in engineering related administrative/technical support such as configuration management, financial reporting, product testing procedures & data entry.
  • The successful candidate must demonstrate intermediate decision making, organization & problem solving.
  • In some areas two or more years experience in interpreting technical requirements and drafting technical specifications and documentation.

  • Demonstrated knowledge and intermediate level proficiency in technical writing.
  • Ability to interface effectively with Internal and external organizations.
  • Understanding of KCP processes and knowledge of KCP product.
  • Some positions may require additional training and qualification.
