Your Role and Responsibilities
ISV SaaS CoE mission is to prepare ISVs in their journey to adapt IBM Cloud & SaaS and help them establishing the security standards/Compliance maturity required to do business with consuming financial services institutions/Banks on IBM Cloud. We are working with most of the key ISVs in the financial services domain and focused on growing an ecosystem of ISVs, validated on IBM FS Cloud Framework and Architecture. This also helps in reducing bank’s ISV application compliance and onboarding cycle to < ~6 months from over ~24 months as of now. ISV SaaS CoE team consists of Cloud Architects, Security Architects and the ISV on-boarding platform and automation development team. ISV SaaS CoE team provide guidance and assets to accelerate ISV FS Cloud onboarding journey in a shared, trusted model. Assist ISVs in deploying and testing ISV Applications on IBM Cloud confining to IBM FS Cloud Architecture. Assist ISVs through the end-to-end controls assessment process against the IBM Cloud Framework for Financial Services and help them achieve IBM FS Cloud Validated status. As Frontend Developer, you are responsible for the implementation of product front-end using JavsScript (React/Next.js), HTML/CSS, Design (Figma, Carbon Design), Github, Agile development and other UI development tools. Responsibilities:

Work with agile software lifecycle methodologies. Create design documents when and as required. Perform coding, debugging and testing.
Participate in design brainstorming sessions, technical design reviews, formal code reviews, bug triage, and functional walk throughs.
Design, build, and test scalable micro services using cloud native technologies
Ensure the Cloud-based services are integrated effectively into asynchronous workflows and user facing APIs/interfaces
Develop automated test scenarios and environments for performance evaluation
Analyze results to find ways to alleviate performance bottlenecks and optimize
Analyze root causes of performance issues and identify areas for improvement
Collaborate with development teams to drive resolution for issues and improvement
Generate performance summary reports for stakeholder’s review.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Minimum of 6- 12 years of Software Product development experience.
Proficient in the following areas: JavsScript (React/Next.js), HTML/CSS, Design (Figma, Carbon Design), Github, etc
Experience with agile software development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery
Experience in working with large teams distributed across geographical locations and time zones
Strong debug skills, effective verbal and written communication skills, team oriented

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Knowledge of the IBM Cloud platforms or another as-a-service platform and its architecture
Experience in UI Development for Cloud portal having experience in JS (React), HTML/CSS.
Experience in data driven UX design and analytics
Experience in UI Test Automation technologies such as Nightwatch.js, Selenium, etc.
Proficient with one or more project management tools – Jira, Git, Aha, etc.
Exposure to open source communities surround Cloud technologies
