Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with architects to design and develop highly scalable network solutions. Provide feedback as these cutting-edge networks are deployed.
  • Create requirements based on architecture and track progress towards meeting those requirements. Partner with hardware designers and network operations teams to validate the quality, stability, and reliability of complex networks.
  • Define and set the overall validation strategy for network infrastructure. Drive internal and external teams to develop and execute test plans.
  • Perform NUDD (new, unique, different and difficult) technology and feature analysis and provide risk assessment and mitigations.
  • Ability to work across multiple disciplines (hardware, firmware, software, and/or data center infrastructure) to identify risks, drive discussions, detail system tradeoffs, and assess impact.
  • Develop high quality tooling, automation, performance metrics, and telemetry, at scale
  • Improve overall network optimization and efficiency through tuning network links, managing link budget, and other methods.
  • partner closely with cross functional teams to define, assess risks, prioritize, and implement new technologies and features.
  • Drive teams to consensus to align on key milestones, technical decisions, and integration with a larger solution.
  • Act as a main technical point of contact for cross functional teams and customers throughout the NPI lifecycle.
  • Analyze new interfaces and subsystems to develop integrationplans, analyze power efficiency, debug integration issues, and provide recommendations.
  • Define systembehavior and concept of operations for the platform to ensure compatibility with Microsoft Azure datacenter software, serviceability, telemetry, and customer expectations.
  • Perform NUDD (new, unique, different and difficult) technology and feature analysis and provide risk assessment and mitigations.
  • Drive technical requirements and ensure the solution is flexible and scalable across the full (HW/FW/SW) stack.
  • Enable platform and solution level discussions, influencing architecture of the product, and delivering to product goals across quality, reliability, and performance.
