About the Opportunity
Our Business Intelligence and Analytics team has grown out of our asset management, business solutions and infrastructure advisory services, augmenting our other services by providing the digital systems, structure, management, and analytics our clients need to harness their data; building through practical value-adding step change solutions to create and embed strategic digital transformation and enabling them to access the intelligence in their data and make better business decisions, faster. Our services include, system agnostic strategic data and digital consultancy, data systems structuring and cleansing, Enterprise Asset Management systems (such as Ellipse and SAP), asset modelling, predictive and prescriptive analytics, digital replicas, and digital twins, and bespoke decision support tools. Our client-centric approach is tailored to the specific pains and gains of the different levels of an organisation, drawing on our knowledge of their operations to ensure systems provide direct value to client business processes to maximise value and return on investment. Your role will encompass three main pillars: project delivery, thought leadership and business development. You will have the opportunity work in and provide leadership to a dynamic team, fostering creativity, and driving transformative projects that combine technology, sustainability, and community engagement. We are looking for a creative Modeller to join our UK Business Intelligence & Analytics Team. You will be joining a team who is delivering digital transformation in industry, supporting clients across multiple sectors to understand their assets and systems, and harnessing their data to make better enterprise-wide decisions. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing team, realise real change and contribute to revolutionary initiatives such as Digital Twin. As a Modeller, you will work with our clients to help them make better decisions. You will be tasked with understanding client’s needs, asset systems and data. You will use our existing simulation and decision support tools and help develop new tools and approaches. You will work closely with colleagues in our projects, programmes, and client organisations. A successful candidate will be outcome focused, with experience of working with real-life data and a passion for improving data, systems and identifying insights. You be able to rationalise complex problems into decision support models and use the models to provide insights to stakeholders across a range of sectors. You will have experience of collaboratively engaging with different stakeholders tounderstand challenges, develop solutions and agree outputs.
· Mathematical, computer science, statistical, or numerical background
· Ability to visualise and communicate the findings of complex analysis in an accessible manner
· Coding languages such as Python or R
· Speaking with clients, understanding their challenges and overcoming those challenges.
· No degree or professional qualification is needed, though candidates should demonstrate comparable performance, knowledge, and expertise.
I deally, you may also have experience with:
· Applied statistical analysis
· Operational asset management/engineering experience
