Key Responsibilities:

• This challenging role which requires candidate to be involved in the full project lifecycle, bring in innovative smart automation suggestion to testing new developments provide the anticipated functionality, to work independently and to ensure current functionality is unaffected.
• Deep hands-on expertise in tools - Selenium, BDD, TestNG, Cucumber with good concepts of Java - OOPS concepts
• Good understanding of how to connect with Test Data - Selenium
• Awareness in creation of Framework / knowledge in updating the scenarios.
• Need exposure in usage of variables in Test Data. Knowledge in optimization of execution approaches.
• Need an individual performer for completing tasks.
• Capable to complete the tasks e2e on their own.
• Good to have - grid implementation, cucumber customization, multi browser implementation.
• Screening - Scratch in Selenium Framework. Certifications in Selenium would be an added advantage.
• Good command of SQL query and Database testing - Working knowledge
• Create quality test plans, test cases, scenarios & ensuring quality assurance for software development projects in various stages & managing process control as per standards.
• Exposure on functional Test Automation & hybrid, keyword-driven, data-driven, Behaviour Driven, Fast automation frameworks.
• Hand-on experience on continuous integration will be an added advantage., Exposure to TeamCity
• Hands-on experience in creating automation scripts, functions, reusable components using VB Script., Java
• Good knowledge of JIRA Testing and defect Mgmt. tool with JIRA Zephyr Test Mgmt. Tool
• Analyse test cases thoroughly to ensure adequate coverage of requirements.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated and manual test scripts for requirement/user story validation, integration, regression, performance and usability testing.
• Provide accurate and precise estimates for assigned task duration and work effort, along with confidence level, and foreseeable dependencies in Agile and waterfall.
• Responsible for test data conditioning
• Trace test cases and results back to specific user stories/requirements/quality risks.
• Plan and prepare metrics to ensure milestone are achieved for the planned release.
• Responsible for daily status reporting at project level
• Ability to prioritize multiple requests at same time.

Knowledge/Experience:

• Person with 10-12 years of experience, working in similar roles across banking or services technology; Knowledge of Corporate banking and trade finance. Past working in Trade platforms is added advantage.
• Hands on experience with manual as well as test automation, test script creation and modification required.
• Working knowledge of QTP/ Selenium / test tools including HP Quality Centre / JIRA
• Working knowledge of Agile, BDD frameworks
• Worked as a senior Test Architect role.
• Proven ability to lead local and remote QA teams while remaining accountable for hands on Testing.
• Extensive experience in Testing, ideally working in a split site environment.
• Strong knowledge of full software development and testing lifecycle.
• A strong commitment to quality and efficiency

• Good documentation skills and application of trade domain knowledge

Innovative solution and thinking for complex business requirements for corporate trade

Qualifications:

• 6-10 years experience in an IT Quality role. Ability to work independently or within groups on projects assigned
• Requires in-depth knowledge, understanding and analytical thought. Exhibits comprehensive knowledge of several areas within IT Quality and has a good understanding of the industry.
• Strong understanding of testing processes. In depth understanding of the Systems Development Lifecycle and solid experience in several phases of systems development, preferably in testing program management. Must demonstrate confidence in their abilities

Education:

• Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
