At IBM, Technical Solution Architects work to understand needs and then create complex high-quality solutions that make meaningful impact. You’ll be responsible for overall leadership and delivery of the solutions from requirement gathering through implementation. You’ll use your in-depth knowledge of leading-edge products and technologies along with industry and business skills to influence outcomes.

**Please note – This position requires working onsite 3 days per week at our Mulhuddart location in Dublin, Ireland.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Architect level certification in at least one hyperscaler (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, GCP) and strong knowledge and experience of hybrid cloud design & solutioning in IBM Cloud or another hyperscaler.
• Strong architectural design background and experience and cloud delivery experience including hands on.
• Experience in customer facing interaction with architecture and technical teams.
• Deep technical knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas: (1) Cloud Networking 2) PowerVS 3) Cloud Security 4) SAP 5) Application Modernization 6) Regulated workloads for example Financial Services, 7) Data & AI/Watsonx, 8) HPC, or 9) Delivery/Integration Architecture
• Self-Starter who is a fast learner of technology and willing to experiment to find the best solutions

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
• Knowledge of one or more of the following: VMWare, Red Hat OpenShift, Power Virtual Server, Ansible, Terraform
• Knowledge of Cloud Networking, Cloud Security & Compliance, Non functional requirements such as Backup, DR, etc
