Within the Product Engineering (PE) division, the Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) Delivery Technical Operations team runs the HANA Enterprise Cloud (HEC) and is responsible for OS, DB & SAP Apps (such as S/4 HANA) operations & support for our customers across multiple infrastructures - SAP DCs, AWS, Azure & GCP. We are looking for an IT Technology Associate Consultant who will be responsible for infrastructure support and services along with running SAP’s backend technology including operations of state-of-the-art datacenters as well as client technology around the globe.

What you'll do:

As an IT Technology Consultant, you will be responsiblefor:

• Handling Incidents, Alerts, and ServiceRequests
• Delivery and maintenance of complex SAP Landscapes by providing technical expertise andsupport.
• Planning,setup,implementation,and operation ofSAP technologies,achievingambitiousSLAs
• Conceptual design, configuration, and administration of server landscapes with focus on Linux Operating systems
• Troubleshooting and resolving any hardware, OS, App and DB related issues that impact thebusiness
• Managing daily operations ensuring highavailability
• Proper documentation, definition of technical operational concepts and guidelines for the implemented SAP landscapes and roll out of this information/knowledge to the rest of theteam
• Coordinationwithinternationalteamsinglobalprojects/crisishandling/de-escalationinitiatives
• While cross-trained in all topic areas (Basis/application, OS and Database), you’ll specialize in one of these areas and own incidents and service requests closure end-to-end

What you bring:

• BE / BTech / MCA from a reputableinstitute
• 1 to 3 years of work experience as Database Administrator in Global Operations team primarily on SAP HANA and ASE Database Platforms and any of the most commercial RDBMS (Oracle, MS SQL Server, DB2 etc.)
• Exposure to the automation tools /scripting orprocesses.
• DB installations and upgrades, Planning, setup andimplementation.
• DB Concept on Security, Backup and recovery strategies, System Copies, high availability and disaster recovery strategy, export-import, replication is a must.
• Organize / Structure day2daydocumentation.
• Willingness to take on-call duty/Weekendtasks.
• Basic knowledge on any Public Cloud Domains like Microsoft Azure, AWS andGCP
• Experience working in an international environment, being able to work effectively with international and virtual teams.
• Capable in technical documentation and creation of knowledge-based assets(KBAs).
• Ability to continuously acquire new knowledge proactively andindependently.
• Analytical and solution-orientedthinking.
• Exposure to ITILframework
