Senior Financial Analyst – Supervising Associate
As a Global Consulting Supervising Associate, you will perform in a role that serves as a business partner and advisor to key business and finance leaders, including Global Consulting Service line leadership and Global Consulting CFO. This role provides critical thinking, analysis, and insights on the financial and markets performance.
Your key responsibilities
- Assisting in providing insights to the business. It includes weekly and monthly performance reviews, Strategic and Financial planning processes, business modelling and ad hoc analysis.
- Covering the P&L performance review and also Markets Finance aspects.
- Analyze and report on Markets data with the focus on GTER, Sales and Pipeline, account performance.
- Delivering weekly and monthly performance reviews for respective business, adding insights, financial analysis and commentary. Maintain a robust month end reporting process, and ensure commentaries are timely, insightful and action oriented.
- Responding to requests from Finance and SL Leadership to answer specific ad hoc financial questions and provide insightful information to advance leadership discussion and decision making. Support the design and delivery of ad hoc financial analysis.
- Ability to model projections and forward look view, identify trends and issues that need to be analyzed and understood.
- Supporting the team with the planning processes and providing insightful observations.
- Help to implement Consulting strategic and operational goals.
- Taking part in the initiatives focusing on enhancing performance and actively using AI solutions.
Skills and attributes for success
- It is expected that this individual works with minimum supervision of Senior team members.
- Ability to work in a virtual global organization respecting international cultures.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and effectively.
- Good presentation, leadership, problem-solving, analytical, and listening skills.
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of tools, predominantly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Graduate and/or professional certification in a business related subject matter (i.e. Accounting, Finance).
- 4+ years of experience in finance/business roles with at least 3 years of supervisory, analytical, forecasting and budgeting experience.
- Highly team oriented approach, with a deep sense of responsibility and flexibility regarding tasks undertaken.
- Very good spoken and written English.
