Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Graphic Design, Product Design, Visual Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field AND 4+ years experience working in product or service design and/or shipping production code
- OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Graphic Design, Product Design, Visual Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field AND 3+ years experience working in product or service design and/or shipping production code
- OR equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of engineering experience working with front-end technologies such as but no limited to HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check:
- This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred/Additional Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Graphic Design, Product Design, Visual Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field AND 8+ years experience working in product or service design and/or shipping production code
- OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Graphic Design, Product Design, Visual Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field AND 6+ years experience working in product or service design and/or shipping production code
- OR equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of engineering experience working with front-end technologies such as but no limited to HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript
- 4+ years experience shipping production-ready code as a result of a collaborative process.
- GitHub or other links showcasing your development skills OR a UI/UX portfolio is required
- Comfortable working through ambiguity and competing priorities
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively cross functionally with other teams (Design, Research, Engineering, PM)
- Demonstrated attention to detail, with the ability to match redlines and design specs
- Experience working with HTML custom elements or Web Component libraries (lit, FAST, etc)
- Passion for invention, human-computer interaction, and seamless user experiences
- Previous experience or knowledge in the design systems space
- Working knowledge of visual design tools such as Figma
- Experience working with a multi-disciplinary team of designers and developers
- An interest in web-standards, technology, and trends, with an eye toward the future
