Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategies to acquire new customers and design strategic partnerships for the data security product.
Identify, contact, and engage potential customers and partners, conduct thorough needs assessments, and tailor initial pitches to align with their specific requirements.
Lead the proposal process for prospective customers and partners, including negotiation strategies, pricing structures, and competitive benchmarking.
Serve as the primary relationship manager for new customers and strategic partners, overseeing account activities, resolving issues, and identifying cross-selling opportunities for the data security product.
Track and report on the progress of customer acquisition and partnership development efforts, including lead management, pipeline growth, sales forecasting, and key performance metrics.
Conduct in-depth market and industry analyses to pinpoint new customer segments and potential strategic partnership opportunities for the data security product.
Collaborate with Marketing & Analysis, Infrastructure Development, and Operations Teams to create customized solutions and partnership packages tailored to the specific needs of new customers and partners, ensuring adherence to all obligations.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Finance, Marketing, Business, Technology or military experience
At least 5 years of experience in Software Sales (selling to large scale accounts)
At least 2 years of experience in People management
At least 1 year of experience in New product development
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience with consistent target achievement as a quota-carrying Account Executive selling technical B2B software greater than $100k ARR into Fortune 500 and similar accounts in security, data, infrastructure or similar spaces.
Ability to follow a defined sales process to run and close complex deals, including use of MEDDPICC or similar qualification methodologies.
Ability to prospect to create net new pipeline, directly through partners
Experience working with tech and SI partners to deliver joint value to end customers
Understanding of data security market
Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA)
At least 3 years of experience with CRM and other GTM tools such as Salesforce, Zoominfo, etc.
