Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree AND 4+years’ experiencein civil or telecommunicationengineering, technical program management, OR equivalent experience.

  • Reading and understanding highway/road prints, be able toidentifyconflicts with existing outside plant facilities, and select routingrequiredfor work projects.
  • Opticalfibertest results analysis for Microsoft’s metro, regional fabric, and long-haul networks are delivered adhering to Microsoft Standards
  • Communicate with all peers and departments to ensure opticalnetworkdesigns meet Microsoft and Industry standards
  • Knowledge of optical transmission system(DWDM)design
  • Knowledge ofnetwork availability analysis
  • Maintainaccuratecablenetworkrecords and updatesin GIS System
