How you’ll spend your day
  • Oversee all domestic inbound and outbound transportation activities for the two PA DCs, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods
  • Serve as a main point of contact for transportation-related inquiries, schedule changes/issues, and coordinating with carriers, logistics providers and internal teams
  • Utilize CargoClix scheduling software to create and manage inbound schedules, optimizing slotting capacity for the two PA DCs, when necessary
  • Track and analyze carrier performance and compliance, generating monthly performance metrics and implementing process improvements, as needed
  • Investigate and resolve transportation issues such as delays, trailer set points, non-compliances, and communicating findings to relevant parties
  • Prepare and manage inbound receiving documents, ensuring all necessary information is available to avoid delays
  • Work closely with the Accounting and Customer Service Departments to address shipment incidents resulting in customer complaints or credit memos
  • File and manage domestic freight claims ensuring timely resolution
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors, Purchasing Department, manufacturing facilities, and the Production Planning Department to optimize transportation modes for cost and efficiency
  • Manage Teva’s third-party freight bill preaudit and payment vendor regarding financial invoice resolution, ensuring accurate and timely processing and payment of transportation-related invoices
Your experience and qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in US domestic transportation management, with a focus on motor carrier and parcel transportation
  • Strong understanding of transportation scheduling, shipping and receiving requirements, and system applications
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of Good Practice (GxP) principles, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, detail-oriented, and able to work with a high degree of accuracy
  • Proficient in project management and consistently delivering results on-time
  • Ability to multi-task and manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and knowledge of SAP and Manhattan WM
  • Knowledge of CargoClix and Trackwise is a plus
