You will be on the cutting edge of our serverless platform journey as we explore bold new technologies and innovative capabilities that optimize customer experience and sustainably deliver upon our industry’s stringent performance requirements. From deeply understanding the Loyalty ecosystem to building and operating massive scale platforms that are highly resilient and performant, you will drive the organization towards continuous delivery of industry leading Loyalty experiences for Capital One customers.
You will:
Lead, manage and grow multiple teams of product focused software engineers
Mentor and guide the professional and technical development of engineers on your team
Work with product leaders to define the strategy, roadmap and destination architecture
Manage a portfolio of diverse technology platforms and projects to build scalable applications that meet our customer needs
Continuously improve software engineering practices
Work within and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across a full-stack of development tools and technologies
Lead the craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of your solutions
Bring a passion to stay on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, participate in internal & external technology communities, and mentor other members of the engineering community
Encourage innovation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, self-organization, and diversity
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
At least 9 years of experience in software engineering
At least 7 years of experience in people management
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree
13+ years of experience in software engineering
8+ years of experience in Agile practices
5+ years of experience building customer-facing applications
Experience with Customer Loyalty solutions
