Minimum Qualifications
  • BS and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • You will have experience in advanced finite element analysis (FEA), preferably in high volume consumer electronic products. Direct experience with sensor technologies is a plus.
  • Proficient in Abaqus, ANSYS, COMSOL, or other FEA tool (Abaqus preferred)
  • Structural and thermal-mechanical analysis focus; non-linear FEA/FEM experience desirable. Additional analysis may include, but not limited to, heat transfer, electromagnetics, electrostatics, CFD, acoustics, fatigue, fracture mechanics, and biomechanics
  • Applied knowledge/experience with material testing and modeling involving complex nonlinear materials such as soft adhesives, elastomers, and polymers
  • Proficient in Matlab and Python scripting
  • Experience in data and statistical analysis (Monte Carlo, DOE, statistical process control) is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and people skills; ability to interact and collaborate with management, team members and external vendors to achieve project goals, and give positively to the engineering community
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
