Account Manager – UK Higher Education
• Responsible for developing an acquisition strategy to win new cyber security business within the HE marketplace
• Responsible for development of a small number of existing HE accounts and expanding Check Point’s market share within them
• Establish and maintain senior level engagement within the sector – Customers/influential bodies such as JISC, USISA etc
• Presenting value propositions to deliver business outcomes for customers
• Deliver operational excellence, to include forecast accuracy, SFDC pipeline development, etc.
• Plan and organize events in conjunction with channel partners & customers
• Managing and collaborating with internal resources to ensure customer satisfaction
• Preferable 5 years of experience in account management and sales within IT industry – preferable within the HE market place
• Demonstrated success in cultivating enduring partnerships with HE customers
• Proven history of C-Level / Decision maker engagement
• Knowledge of the Security software industry
• Conceptual understanding of requirements and solutions
• Ability to show knowledge and understanding of qualification criteria and closing metrics.
• Ability to solve critical issues in a timely manner
• Preferable advanced studies (degree)
• Willingness to travel – This is a national role, covering all higher education within England & Wales
