Job responsibilities
- Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
- Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems
- Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development
- Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems
- Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture
- Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor and optimize application performance and scalability.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management and ensure security best practices are implemented across the infrastructure
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance system reliability.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
- Proficient in coding in Java and coding in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby
- Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Must be able to lead and share best-practices for development of Web Services and Web components in a DevOps environment
- Hands-on practical experience with Java and event-driven architectures, based on distributed event streaming platforms such as Kafka
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on practical experience in Microservices technology, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
- Must be able to interact with other Microservices developers, QA automation engineers, and other testers from cross-functional groups such as Integration Solutions Testing, and User Acceptance Testing.
- Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security

- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies, such as Micro-Front-Ends
- Exposure to cloud technologies, such as Amazon Web Services
- Working knowledge of JMeter and BlazeMeter
- Should have experience with Performance engineering concep
