The Workforce Solutions team is looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer to help drive our engineering revolution in the Talent Acquisition (TA) space. In this role, you will invent and build on behalf of recruiters, experiment and test new ideas and build sustainable solutions that help us scale with technology. You will experiment with and implement the best GenAI tools and build intelligent sourcing strategies to improve speed, cost and quality of hire at Amazon.Key job responsibilities
- Define the system architecture, own and implement specific components, and help shape the overall experience- Participate in the full development life cycle, working within broadly defined parameters, including test plan execution and software quality needs.
- Contribute to planning, design, implementation, testing, operations, and process improvement
- Design and define the interaction between the solution components and other systems where applicable.
- Engineer highly scalable, cloud-native applications
A day in the life
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
