The role and responsibilities of the GPU product manager include the following:
Leading several aspects of integrated GPU technology product planning and analysis for Snapdragon processors, in collaboration with stakeholders in GPU hardware and software engineering organizations.
Help drive General Purpose GPU (GPGPU) strategy, working with other teams e.g. multimedia, computer vision, machine learning, etc.
Manage strategic relationships with key customers and other ecosystem partners
Clearly communicate GPU product plans, benefits and issues both internally and externally, to a variety of audiences from engineers to executives.
Provide GPU product training to field sales and marketing teams, and assist with application developer training.
Work with OEMs/ODMs, chipset product managers to understand product requirements, define key IP changes needed, and drive GPU IP roadmap
Translate market requirements into detailed product requirements that are driven back in the product definition process
Work with Qualcomm business units to create alliances to create a complete IP product offering
Assess competitive landscape, develop competitive analysis materials, stay up to date on technological advancement and feed back into the roadmap to build a differentiated technology roadmap
Work with customers and internal engineering teams on customer RFIs, RFQs, and system-level use case modelling & analysis
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:
Experience in productizing advanced graphics technologies
Experience working with game, video, and/or AR/VR systems
Experience in computer graphics or 3D characters
Experience in go-to-market strategies.
Execution oriented and track record of driving on time deliverables to customers with aggressive schedules.
Strong communication and presentation skills
Passion to evangelize disruptive new technologies.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Humanities, or related field.
• 5+ years of Product Management or related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 10+ years of Product Management or related work experience.
• 3+ years of working in a large matrixed organization.
• 2+ years of working with operating budgets and/or project financials.
• 2+ years of negotiating 3rd party business agreements.

Pay range:
$171,000.00 - $256,000.00
