- Own energy efficiency and its narrative for AWS infrastructure, and set energy efficiency strategic direction and goals
- Own alignment with global workstreams across overlapping functions including: operations, engineering, sustainability, public policy, legal, and regulatory/ISO
- Manage and coordinate (or participate) in programs/projects/tasks for the continuous development, implementation and maintenance of energy efficiency requirements and best practices for the organization
- Define and deliver enduring programs, projects, tools, documentation, and processes for energy efficiency & optimization of AWS DC infrastructureDiverse Experiences

- 5+ years implementing energy efficiency programs, preferably in data centers, with demonstrable optimization, cost or consumption reductions- Track record of developing energy management tools and frameworks, including KPIs, dashboards, standardized processes, and leadership narratives- Experience analyzing technical, commercial and regulatory aspects of energy systems, including EnMS, infrastructure, decarbonization, or sustainability initiatives
