What you’ll be doing:
Leading a team of 10+ Mechanical design Engineers.
Defining priorities, project plans, and allocating resources for various mechanical programs – in coordination with Product managers.
Driving all electro-mechanical design aspects of Switches and assuring readiness of test/assembly infrastructure (fixtures and jigs) to enable high volume manufacturing.
Proposing multiple early design concepts while working in fast-paced product development cycles.
Joining and leading task forces to investigate and resolve production excursions, reliability issues and conduct failure analysis.
Performing risk assessment and mitigation plans, as part of product design.
What we need to see:
B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, or higher.
12+ overall years of relevant experience and 5+ years proven experience in electro-mechanical product design, including PCB/PCBA design.
8+ years of experience as team manager.
Record of leading team managers as direct reports.
Self-motivated with a sharp learning curve, able to work independently and as a teammate.
Proven experience in developing, testing, and manufacturing liquid cooled systems.
Excellent hands-on experience with 3D CAD. Creo knowledge is an advantage.
Strong background in design of components and systems for high-volume manufacturing technologies, such as: sheet metal, stamping and injection molding.
High awareness for quality, manufacturability, and their importance for robust manufacturing.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Hebrew.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or MBA.
Experience in cooperating with OEMs/ODMs and formulating SOWs.
Experience of working at a global enterprise telecommunication organization.
Experience in development andimplementation/trainingof new design methodologies.
