Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership and Vision Translation : Collaborating with segment, region, and global supply chain functions to translate the overarching business strategy into specific, actionable plans for supply chain and service data, both in the short and long term. Communicating compelling vision and establishing clear strategic priorities to ensure organizational cohesion and alignment.
Data Governance Roadmap : Leading the co-development and management of a consolidated data roadmap for supply chain and services, in partnership with Chief Data Officers.
Supply Chain and Global Services Master Data Management: Implementing a management system to define, making visible, implementing, and reviewing the progress of the supply chain data maturity model. Co-developing and standardize Master Data Management processes and standards for supply chain and services, ensuring data integrity and consistency. Developing and maintaining a data governance framework, policies, and procedures for supply chain. Establishing data standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity. Determining data ownership, roles, and responsibilities throughout the supply chain organization.
Data Strategy: Defining and managing standard datasets and KPI reporting, building on standardized data for comprehensive supply chain and service analysis. Implementing data quality monitoring processes to identify and address data quality issues. Collaborating with IT teams and other stakeholders to ensure accurate capturing, storing, and reporting of data. Monitoring the usage and health of data assets, ensuring compliance with privacy and security standards.
Data Marketplace and BI Tool Implementation: Driving the implementation of a data marketplace for the integrated supply chain and global services. A significant task is overseeing the shift to Microsoft Power BI tools, focusing on optimizing data visualization and reporting for diverse supply chain areas like engineering, sourcing, and logistics. This includes collaborating with IT to develop unique intellectual property for advanced visualization. The role also emphasizes tailoring tools and solutions to the specific needs of each supply chain domain. Driving the prioritization and activation of data use cases, conducting workshops for development and implementation, and establishing SOPs to maintain high data quality and security.
Change Management and Continuous Improvements: Acting as a change agent, promoting a culture of simplification and standardization within the organization. Managing annual plans, budgets, and objectives, aligning them with the business's continuous improvement and performance goals.
Compliance: Staing updated on relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA), ensuring adherence to data privacy guidelines. Collaborating with legal and compliance teams to develop and implementing data privacy policies and processes across supply chain.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
Advanced Degree Preferred: A Master's degree or MBA is highly desirable, especially with a focus on Supply Chain Management, Digital Transformation, Data Management, or Business Analytics.
Strong professional experience in supply chain management, with a significant focus on process transformation within a large, complex organization.
Experience in developing and implementing process strategies.
Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and supply chain management software.
Data-Mesh implementation experience.
Proficiency in metadata and data quality tools like Atlan, Collibra, Informatica, Alation, Atacama, Talend, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to think strategically and translate business strategies into actionable supply chain initiatives.
Ability to serve as a change agent, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey vision and strategies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of tackling complex supply chain challenges.
Understanding of the healthcare industry and its regulatory environment is a plus.
Experience working in a global environment, with an understanding of cross-cultural management and global supply chain dynamics.
Demonstrated experience in leading process transformation initiatives in supply chain contexts, ideally in the healthcare or related industries.
