Testing and inspecting Low Voltage Switchgear and Switchboards to applicable standards (i.e. UL1558, UL891, IEEE, etc)
Use multi meter and electrical theory to verify power readings and circuit design to ensure proper wiring and operation.
Use Hipot, test card, hand tools, specialized software (i.e. Siemens WinPM, Step 7, MicroWin, WinCC Flexible, SAP, etc.)
Perform inspection/audit of mechanical and electrical assemblies.
Maintain and input records or reports related to testing/inspecting activities.
Basic Qualifications:
2+ years of exposure to electrical components or knowledge of electrical components.
High school diploma or GED.
Speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language along with Blueprints/engineering drawings.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Ability/experience testing and troubleshooting with strong problem-solving skills.
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years in capacity of engineering or quality functions for power distribution equipment.
Associates degree or technical training in area of responsibility.
Knowledge of prevailing codes (UL1558, UL891, UL508).
Knowledge of power distribution components (breaker, relays, communication devices).

The pay range for this position is $49,100.00 - $91,400.00. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
