What you'll do...
We are seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join our Global People Technology & Services organization. This role requires an individual who is a subject matter expert in observability, continuous integration (CI), continuous delivery (CD), systems architecture, and software engineering. You will be instrumental in guiding our technology strategy and driving operational excellence across the organization.
What you'll do:
- Serve as a subject matter expert in observability, CI/CD, systems architecture, and software engineering.
- Provide strategic guidance and hands-on support in the development of best practices, architectural designs, and technology solutions.
- Lead and mentor teams in the implementation of complex systems, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the continuous improvement of our technology stack and processes.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in software engineering, advocating for their adoption where appropriate.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and resilient systems that meet business goals and customer needs.
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and troubleshooting sessions to ensure the highest standards of development.
- Drive a culture of accountability, ownership, and inclusivity within the team.
