When you join us, you’ll be responsible for the following:
Development and review of 2D and 3D construction drawings.
Work under the supervision of senior staff to assist drafting design efforts for military and commercial airfields including, but not limited to, such disciplines as earthwork, pavements, and drainage.
Work closely on project assignments with those of other engineers and technicians in his/her discipline group.
Provide support in the overall management of construction drawings for projects.
Attend project meetings both virtually and in-person.
Associates Degree in Civil Engineering Technology from an accredited technical institute (or equivalent).
2-5 years of CAD Technician experience working within the transportation industry
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
Familiarity or previous knowledge of the National CAD Standards.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and/or Bluebeam.
Time management, leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to efficiently utilize time in executing assigned tasks accurately and on time.
Ideally, you’ll also have:
Autodesk AutoCAD 2D software
Autodesk AutoCAD Civil3D experience or the ability to learn.
