What you'll do
  • You will bring new Cisco technologies to market.
  • You will collaborate closely with the Business Units and Technical Marketing to understand our products, technologies and Services.
  • You will continuously help develop our solutions by providing feedback from the field.
  • You will prepare responses to customer RFP's.
  • You will conduct training and technical workshops for customers and internal teams.
  • You will understand competitor offerings and provide guidance to the sales team on product positioning and differentiation.
  • You will represent Cisco on community forums and customer-facing events.
Who You Are
  • You have a solid understanding of technologies such as campus and DC secure networking, SDx & programmability, hybrid cloud, collaboration, and security.
  • You have demonstrable experience in a pre-sales engineering or technical customer-facing environment.
  • You can demonstrate a good understanding of some or all of the following technologies, Cisco Control points, SDx, SD-WAN, Nexus 9k & ACI, Webex, Security Suites, and UCS
  • You are adept at using initiative, discretion and judgment to apply technical solutions to complex sales opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely as well as with your team to accomplish objectives.
  • You have experience and knowledge of the sales lifecycle.
  • You preferably hold at least one of the following CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, DevNet certifications.
  • Most of all, you are a great teammate with a passion for technology and the impact it can make on our customers' businesses, someone who helps others, loves to get involved, and has fun.
