Key job responsibilities
* Design and build innovative products in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry.
* Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive, design, and bring innovative products and services to market.
* Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.
* Design and code the right solutions by working on the following:
* Front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript
* JavaScript frameworks such as react and node.
* CDK for AWS offerings such as AVP, DynamoDB, Aurora, Open Search, ECS, NLB, Fargate, Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, Eventbridge, Cloudwatch etc.
* Transcoding and proxy services like AWS Media Convert.
* DRM and forensic watermarking integrations.
* Design (design patterns, reliability and scaling) and maintenance of new and existing systems.
* Scalable backend services and APIs using Java, Nodejs, Python.

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Prior experience in the Media and Entertainment domain.
