Ring is looking for a talented and motivated Hardware Development (EE) Engineer (BS minimum) to join our Product Design Team. In this role you will be responsible for adapting the System-on-Chip (SoC) platform to the specific device being designed. Your tasks will include conducting feasibility studies from an electrical engineering perspective, cross-functional interaction, basic firmware engineering, and subsystem integration.Key job responsibilities
- Develop schematic and layout for electronic subsystems- Partner with Product Management teams on product requirements
- Take part in the prototype creation
- Clearly and concisely express and document ideas, issues, test results and so on
- Develop design documentation
- Offers creative, out of the box solutions- Is comfortable with proactive outward communication and technical leadership and never shies away from a challenge

- Bachelor’s degree in an Electrical Engineering
- Extensive experience within industrial or commercial electronics design
- Knowledge of processors architecture, digital circuit design and various communications protocols such as I2C, UART, SPI, USB, MIPI, I2S etc.
- Knowledge of power electronics (AC-DC/DC-DC) design
- Understanding of high-speed design and noise suppression techniques
- Electronic prototyping skills
- Good written and spoken English

- Master’s degree in an Electrical Engineering
- Experience with RF design
- Strong experience with Altium Designer and Altium 365 tools
