As a senior Applied Scientist, you will bring deep expertise to lead innovation in AI. You will work with complete autonomy to transform your vision into high-impact results. You will mentor and guide a team of junior scientists, and help them navigate challenges. You will also collaborate across teams, determine strategic directions, establish technical excellence, and guide the team in a fast-paced and ever-changing landscape.Key job responsibilities
- Guide and mentor junior scientists and engineers to foster a culture of inclusion, innovation, technical excellence, and continuous learning.
- Publish in top-tier conferences and journals to establish our reputation as a leader in AI research.
- Contribute to the develop of the organization's AI strategy, keep up-to-date on emerging trends and opportunities for differentiation in the AI landscape.

- 6+ years of building machine learning models for business application experience
- PhD, or Master's degree and 6+ years of applied research experience
- Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language
- Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning
- Experience with conducting research in a corporate setting

- Experience with modeling tools such as R, scikit-learn, Spark MLLib, MxNet, Tensorflow, numpy, scipy etc.
- Experience in building speech recognition, machine translation and natural language processing systems (e.g., commercial speech products or government speech projects)
