As a HR Strategy Business Associate you will:

  • Lead the delivery of complex multi-year strategies end-to-end, across multiple Discipline areas

  • Enable connectivity across Disciplines to deliver strategic initiatives and large-scale projects

  • Establish global oversight to key Financial & Resource planning processes within Human Resources

  • Streamline, simplify, and standardize processes across Human Resources Disciplines

  • Establish control processes and quality assurance efforts for established processes

  • Establish yourself as a subject matter expert and data-driven advisor on processes within remit; including developing metrics to monitor and measure the impact of strategies

  • Become advisor and leader within HR; interacting with HR Discipline Business Execution teams; Workforce Intelligence & Talent Acquisition Senior Leadership teams; Finance; and others.

  • Drive productivity/ cost savings initiatives in partnership with the senior management team

  • Participate in stakeholder meetings to assess scope of strategic needs, educate stakeholders on strategy, and make recommendations for achieving desired impact

  • Complete financial deliverables including monthly forecasts, the annual investment process, client reporting and ad hoc requests

  • Leverage technology and tools to enable communications and generate excitement and interest in risk communications

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

Ideal background:

  • 6-10 years of relevant work experience, preferably within the financial services industry and Human Resources

  • Excellent project planning / organizational skills, including the ability to lead project teams towards clear delivery plans across geography, function and other structures

  • Excellent data skills, including the ability to manipulate data and transform numbers into insights and recommendations for actions

  • Ability to adopt and become an expert in financial systems and processes

  • Strong risk & control management and process reengineering skills, including the ability to understand the why behind processes and to redesign in the most efficient and risk-mitigating manner

  • Extensive years of working in a multi-cultural environment delivering results with virtual teams and experience and ease in interfacing with different stakeholder groups

  • Outstanding relationship management, presentation and communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to manage immediate tasks while planning for the future (e.g. strategies, short/mid/long-term approaches)

  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changes, pivot quickly when priorities change, and remain agile in the midst of ambiguity.

  • Knowledge and experience of Human Resources disciplines within Citi and Business Execution processes end to end is a plus
