How you’ll spend your day
  • Develop Business Relationships: Create effective relationships with business stakeholders to ensure expectation management and alignment of team priorities with the business.
  • Create Value: Work with the business and IT management to identify areas of opportunity/need, and then develop them into initiatives that deliver measureable value. Apply industry best practice thinking, waterfall and agile methodologies, and other innovation/continuous improvement techniques to make measurable improvements to our business.
  • IT Improvement and Innovation: As an IT individual contributor, the incumbent is expected to contribute independent ideas, proposals, and projects for improving the efficiency, effectiveness, and value of IT at Teva.
  • Business Analysis: Understand the business. Work with your stakeholders to understand the business and document ‘as-is’ business processes, understanding dependencies on upstream processes/groups and impacts on downstream processes/groups. For new initiatives, develop ‘to-be’ process flows to facilitate business understanding and requirement definition. Influence and help business manage through Change related to IT initiatives.
  • Sustain Operations: Support the business stakeholders in their day-to-day operations providing the highest levels of service and maintaining a stable operating environment. Coordinate with infrastructure, IT Security and other internal, IT support functions to maintain system stability while minimizing business impact of routine and non-routine IT maintenance activities.
  • Project Management: Serve as Project Manager for small-scale initiatives. Responsible for developing project-related deliverables as needed, e.g. project plan, resource plan, status reports, issue escalations etc. as appropriate for size and complexity of efforts.
  • Vendor Management: Will have some exposure working with external vendors and may be required to manage vendor relationships at a resource level and facilitate their interactions with your business clients.
  • Follow Teva Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures.
  • Other projects and duties as required / assigned
Your experience and qualifications
  • A bachelors degree is required.
  • A minimum on 6 years’ experience working in Pharmaceuticals Industry with at least 4 years’ experience in some area of Commercial IT is required.
  • Must be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of the US Pharmaceutical Industry indirect sales channel and end customer Class of trade classifications.
  • Must have experience understanding of Medicaid Program and experience supporting Model Flex Medicaid module.
  • Must have experience understanding of Medicaid Program and experience supporting Government Pricing application.
  • Must have proven experience influencing business process change and adoption of new approaches and tools resulting in tangible process improvements.
  • Experience supporting or working in Model N Flex.
  • Ability to provide backup support in other areas of Revenue Management such as Chargebacks, Contract Pricing and Rebates preferred.
  • Experience managing small projects and initiatives preferred (willingness and desire to develop as a project manager is a must).
  • Experience with SQL scripting or similar required.
  • Experience with Unix scripting or similar preferred.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • Experience with MS Project and MS Visio or similar preferred.
Compensation Data

The annual starting salary for this position is between $131,000 – 171,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting salary within this range and level of role may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
