As an MES Functional Consultant, your primary responsibility is to comprehend the business model, process flow, and specific business requirements. You will then devise tailored solutions to meet these needs. Your role entails implementing MES (Manufacturing Execution System) solutions, analyzing requirements, designing new features, integrating with ERP systems, and supporting the testing and deployment phases. Additionally, you are responsible for creating essential project deliverables, including setup documents, functional specifications, testing plans, scenarios, and scripts. Your expertise will be vital in resolving production incidents encountered by users in their daily operations.

Business Requirements Analysis:

- Collaborate with business users to fully understand their requirements.

Specification Documents(FSDs)

Solution Design and Testing:

- Develop comprehensive test plans and scenarios.

- Aid users in preparing test scripts and conducting system testing.

- Ensure that the proposed solutions are in line with business requirements.

Training and Knowledge Transfer:

- Conduct training for key users.

- Ensure the smooth adoption of MES solutions within the organization.

Issue Resolution and Process Improvement:

- Investigate process-related issues reported by users and provide timely solutions.

- Perform quality checks on project deliverables to uphold high standards.

- Proactively seek areas for improvement in existing MES systems and standalone applications.

- Capable of working independently and possesses a rapid learningaptitude.- Able to collaborate effectively with both functional and technical members of the Application team that meet business requirements.

Mandatory Requirements/Skills:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Relevant Experience: 5 + years)

- Hands-on experience with standard MES products or bespoke MES solutions.

- Comprehensive MES implementation experience, encompassing the entire process from material receipt

to dispatch to the Finished Goods warehouse.

- Proficient in Machine Integration within MES processes.

- Fundamental knowledge of PLCs.

- Proficient in MSSQL.

- Knowledge of the Automotive or Manufacturing domain is essential.
