As an-you will be a senior solution sales leader within our Small, Medium and Corporate growth business, leading a virtual team of technical, partner and consulting resources to advance the sales process and achieve/exceed quarterly Data & AI revenue and usage/consumption targets in your assigned accounts. You will be a trusted advisor and Analytics, Data & AI subject matter expert with core capability and expertise in Data Modernization, Analytics and AI. You will work with customers to leverage data to help them achieve their business priorities and help guide customer’s journey through Analytics-led Azure Data transformation. You will help customers evaluate their applications and business requirements, recommend solutions that meet their requirements and demonstrate these solutions to win the technical decision. You will need to support customers to remove roadblocks to deployment and drive customer satisfaction. You will help our customers take advantage of our unique hybrid data platform and leading Analytics & AI solutions to realize the value of digital transformation. This role is flexible in that you can work up to 50% .


Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Technology-related sales or account management experience
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND technology-related sales or account management experience
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Solution sales or consulting services sales experience.
    • Prior work experience in a Consulting/Solutions Sales position working with Data solutions ranging from structured/relational to semi/non structured data including Cloud-based Data Warehouse, Hadoop, Spark, Data Lake, SQL solutions required MySQL, PostreSQL, NoSQL (Mongo), and Machine Learning solutions desired.​​
    • Disciplined Operator – Maintains excellence in pipeline management, forecasting and driving integrated territory and budget achievement planning.
    • Azure Data Services. Understanding of Microsoft Azure Cloud platform with emphasis on Microsoft Data platform services, hybrid cloud technologies, developer tools and services and/or complementing solutions required
    • Purposeful Planner & Executor – Delivers business impact with intentional planning, driving clarity to the team with consistent coaching rhythms, removing blockers and ensuring quarterly business budget goals are met.
  • Technical Dialog. Lead technical sessions making use of whiteboards or other resources to drive solution discussions leveraging published solution architectures for common data platform implementations required
    • Technical Demonstration. Ability to demonstrate Azure solutions leveraging pre-packaged Azure demo environments and live demos from the Azure Resource Manager showcasing relevant Azure Data, Analytics & AI solutions required
    • Technical Frameworks. Ability to leverage technical frameworks such as the Cloud Adoption Framework for Azure to guide customers and partners through the cloud adoption journey preferred
    • Competitive Landscape. Knowledge of enterprise software solutions and cloud and datacenter infrastructure competitor landscape including AWS and GCP and understanding of partner ecosystems and the ability to leverage partner solutions to solve customer needs
    • Azure Data Fundamentals (DP-900) or AI Fundamentals (AI-900) Certified or equivalent knowledge.

Responsibilities
  • Solution sales expert within our enterprise sales organization working with our most important customers.
    • Collaborate with a team of technical, partner, and consulting resources to advance the sales process and exceed quarterly Data & AI revenue targets in your assigned accounts. ​​
  • Sales Execution
    • Engage in conversation with customers aligned to their industry and collaborates with account and partner team to drive and qualify new opportunities and build pipeline
    • Identify customer business and technology readiness, proactively builds external stakeholders' mapping, implements strategies to accelerate the closing of deals, contributes input on strategies to drive and close prioritized opportunities, coaches junior team members in deal plan execution, and implements close plans.
    • Scaling and Collaboration
      • Apply role orchestration model and navigates the Microsoft organization to bring the best impact to the customer.​ Also collaborates with Global Partner Solutions (GPS), identifies new partners, develops joint proposals with partners, and contributes to developing partner strategies.
    • Technical Expertise
      • Leverage and share competitor knowledge across solution areas as a subject matter expert to inform decisions on pursuit or withdrawal. Leads conversations
      • Set up events within Microsoft, mentor others and develops strategies for best practice sharing, initiates conversations with prospective customers/partners at events, acts as a subject matter expert in one or more solution area(s). Collaborates with the 'compete' SMEs internally to analyze competitor products, solutions, and/or services and implement strategies. ​

      • Drives the execution of projects, partners and collaborates with other teams on related deliverables, and leverages others in relevant work streams.​
