The Role
We're looking for a Software Development Engineer to join Kuiper's Enterprise Core team, where you'll architect and implement the systems that enable external developers worldwide to build and control their satellite connectivity programmatically with Kuiper. You'll craft SDK experiences that delight developers, implement enterprise-grade identity systems for controlled access, and establish the bar for API and event patterns that live forever. This is a highly visible role with broad impact.Export Control Requirement:

- Actively participate in overall enterprise service strategy and API architecture
- Design and implement globally available distributed systems for authentication, metrics, and events- Be involved in every aspect of new enterprise features – from idea generation through technical design and implementation using AWS best practices and patterns- Ensure services meet AWS's enterprise-grade standards for security, availability, and complianceA day in the life
About the team
Our team owns developing the enterprise architecture, solutions & roadmap for Kuiper's enterprise experience. We build the foundational services and patterns for identity management, API interfaces, developer tools, and enterprise application integrations. We ensure Kuiper's services meet enterprise requirements while delivering an excellent developer experience. We're enabling customers to integrate Kuiper connectivity into their own solutions through APIs, SDKs, and developer tools.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
