WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
We’re looking for a Lead Technical Developer with expertise inpattern creation,
The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of relevant education, experience, or training
A minimum of 6 years directly relevant work experience
6+ years technical development/design experience in the apparel industry, which includes the apparel development process from inception through production including pattern creation, construction, materials, costing, print / graphics, manufacturing and quality.
Ability to write product specs and advanced construction instructions along with interpreting design intent and offering alternative solutions.
Ability to act as a technical resource, mentor others and lead initiatives through high energy and positive influence.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to excel in a deadline driven environment. Ability to manage multiple projects.
Strong problem solving and decision-making skills with attention to detail and process orientation.
Proficiency with MS Office programs and confident using Adobe Illustrator and CAD Pattern Design software. Experience withOptitex/Browzwear/CLOpreferred.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You will work within theApparel team, managing your assigned styles collaboratively with your cross functional partners on creative solutions and execution whilst creating digital protos and tech packs for our factories. You will review prototypes and samples taking the styles through the creation process and ensuring to meet gates and dates to ensure on-time production capability.
You will work on sophisticated styles to create and update Tech Packs for our factory partners including measurements, construction sketches and graphic placements. You will lead proto review sessions and write comments. You will supervise and request prototypes for your styles, manage and meet your calendar target dates, attend meetings that relate to your product’s development and communicate progress and challenges to your team as needed.
