Responsibilities:

  • Investigate the data quality issues to determine the root cause.
  • Define solutions working with technology and relevant business partners to address DQ issues and deliver risk projects.
  • Assist with Data Quality KPIs and governance.
  • Remediation of current CCR related Data quality issues and supporting the process of documenting, monitoring, and prioritizing key initiatives for Risk
  • Work with technology to develop plans for consistent usage of data across various risk calculations ( PSE, NSE, RWA, Stress Losses, VaR and others).
  • Partner with key members of Risk and Technology to develop a cohesive strategy.
  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of data analytic experience.
  • Familiar with the financial markets’ instruments and Credit Risk - Good understanding of Credit risk with focus on derivatives and security financing transactions.
  • Proficient in MS-Excel and data analytics (Tableau / Power BI).
  • Data tracing, Data mining, visualization, analysis – identifying patterns/trends, exploratory data analysis, root cause analysis.
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to manage multiple competing priorities while delivering results quickly and efficiently.
  • Project and process management skills.
  • Self-starter who also has a demonstrated ability to work successfully in team environment and drive.
  • Bachelors/University degree, Master’s degree preferred.
