EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

In your job as Business Processes Associate Consultant in the COE for ABAP Technology&Performance / Basis team you will have the chance to see the results of your efforts by directly contributing to the stability and reliability of the customer solutions.

Our team here primarily focuses on:

• Root Cause Analysis and technical optimization of any ABAP based solutions with special focus on performance, stability and scalability

• Assessment and implementation of technical architecture & and operational concepts for SAP Business Suite and S/4HANA

• Assessment and optimization of the underlying technical architecture as well as the system administration and operational processes of Business Suite and S/4HANA

• Empowering of customers to plan, implement and operate SAP solutions systems landscapes

• ABAP development and technical optimization in S/4HANA solutions

As you will be working primarily for customers all over Europe and Africa, very good English language skills are mandatory. Experts skills in additional languages especially in German are a big plus. To deliver our services to customers travel (also on short notice) is a significant part of the job.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• You have a very good university degree in Mathematics, Information Technology, Engineering or Natural Sciences
• You have strong analytical and logical skills
• You enjoy working in an international team

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• You have very good communication skills
• You enjoy facing and tackling new challenges in different roles on a regular basis
• You have several years of experience in very technical IT topics like software logistics, performance analysis, databases, hardware layouts/components, networks
• You are experienced with SAP Basis Administration
• You have experience with ABAP and/or JAVA code (analysis and optimization)
• You have experience operating system like Linux, AIX
• You have very good English skills (spoken and written)
• Optimally you also have very good German skills (spoken and written)
• You are willing to travel worldwide on a regular basis also on short notice
