Your key responsibilities

Building relationships is the key. You will be a high-profile contact when it comes to motivating client engagement teams with diverse skills and backgrounds by fostering an innovative and inclusive team-orientated work environment. As you build knowledge and experience, you'll become a credible advisor to junior consultants within the organization as well as the clients.

  • Foster relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels. Consistently deliver quality client services.
  • Drive high-quality work products within expected timeframes and on budget.
  • Constantly developing your understanding of current market trends and processes and sharing your knowledge to develop junior colleagues
  • Understanding our clients' unique ambitions and needs and referring them to colleagues in other teams and areas to broaden our business relationships where possible

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Bachelor's degree and approximately 8 years of related work experience; or graduate degree and approximately 7 year of related work experience
  • Degree in business, finance, accounting, computer science, engineering, or a related field; MBA or MS degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 year of experience working at a professional services firm, financial services company or comparable experience working as an advisor to a financial services company
  • Experience working in an asset management firm, private bank, investment area of an insurance company, mutual fund complex, third-party service provider, or as a consultant in one of these companies
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise a team through all phases of the initiative life cycle
  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills, coupled with a strong interest in further developing industry and deep content knowledge in the Asset Management area
  • Ability and comfort level researching client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices, and new technologies
  • Willingness to travel to meet client needs and a valid driver's license and passport required

Ideally, you'll also have

  • Prior consulting experience with a consulting firm or large global financial institution

What we offer
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $148,900 to $340,200. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $178,700 to $386,600. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances.
