As a Senior Consultant you will join the EY wavespace and Innovation team where you will have the opportunity to work with some of our most forward-thinking clients on some of their most strategic endeavours.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with teams to design and deliver end-to-end EY wavespace experiences where you will:

  • Assist in the discovery phase to ensure an in depth understanding of clients’ current situation and future vision through interviews and/or review of strategic plans
  • Participate in designing, preparing, and executing wavespace sessions where you will:
    • Help create dynamic and immersive experience agendas
    • Assist the experience designers in creating interactive workshop activities that accelerate transformative problem solving
    • Work with thought leaders to prepare compelling presentations and insights
    • Work with the client to help validate and co-design the approach for the session
    • Support the design and build interactive ideation activities (sometimes leveraging digital tools like Mural and Miro)
    • Attend and, at times, co-facilitate breakout sessions
    • Capture relevant insights from the session
    • Prepare session summary output documents
    • Leverage your creativity to create exceptional and unique immersive experiences with our clients
  • Help prepare and run ideation campaigns and facilitate innovation design sprints:
  • Help coordinate ideation campaigns
  • Work with subject matter experts to identify case studies to inspire innovation
  • Attend and support the orchestration of design thinking learning sessions and other activities
  • Support the facilitation of end-to-end design sprints with idea teams
  • Help maintain and update our Innovation Playbook (i.e. tools and methods)

To qualify for the role you should have:

  • A related bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ year of experience in an Analysis, Strategy, Facilitation or relevant field, ideally in a professional consulting services firm
  • Experience with facilitation
  • Demonstrated PowerPoint experience
  • Effective writing, presentation, facilitation and networking skills


Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Exposure to Mural and Miro tools
  • Familiarity with design thinking methods
  • This role involves interaction with internal and external clients and professionals nationally and globally. Professional competency in the English language is therefore a requirement of this role. Bilingualism in both French and English is considered an asset.

The salary range for this job in British Columbia is $75,600 to $113400. Individual salaries within this range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and work location city.
