Director of Partner Marketing
(3 day in-office requirement)
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in B2B or B2B2C marketing experience with a focus on Co-Marketing required.
- 5+ years of experience in financial technology, or payments space a must.
- Hands-on experience developing and executing co-branded marketing campaigns across various formats and measuring partner-driven success.
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of forging and maintaining professional, positive relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners while also creating buy in.
- Strategic thinker skilled in identifying marketing opportunities, while multitasking and managing multiple deliverables in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Strong project management skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and mentor teams, ensuring the achievement of business goals and individual development.
Bonus points:
- Experience working with SMBs or Accounting Firms or Accountants.
- Experience in SaaS (Software as a Service) marketing
A day in the life and how you’ll make an impact:
- Build and lead the strategy for co-marketing programs, ensuring alignment with partners’ needs, department KPIs and the company’s broader business objectives.
- Develop a comprehensive playbook for campaigns aimed at driving the adoption of Melio’s products through partnership networks, with a focus on measuring and optimizing effectiveness.
- Design and implement engagement plans that drive partner customer adoption, including the creation, distribution, and tracking of co-marketing assets.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance to identify areas for improvement, share insights, and provide regular updates to both internal and external stakeholders on outcomes and best practices.
- Collaborate with Strategic Partnership, Product, and Performance Marketing teams to ensure partners are fully equipped with the content, tools, and product knowledge needed to effectively promote Melio’s co-marketing program.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, mutually beneficial relationships with key external partners, ensuring alignment with company goals and fostering long-term collaboration.
As a senior leader in Partner Marketing, your primary focus will be driving product adoption and growth within partner ecosystems. This role requires extensive experience in co-marketing and a proactive, strategic mindset to manage complex, large-scale projects. You will collaborate closely with partners’ marketing teams to develop and execute initiatives that enhance product usage, engagement, and customer retention. Success in this role requires exceptional relationship-building skills, an analytical approach to achieving measurable outcomes, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will work with partner marketing teams from major financial institutions like Fiserv, e-commerce leaders like Shopify, and prominent banks like Capital One.
