Job Description
- Overall, 15 years of SAP experience with minimum of 10+ years in SAP Extended Warehouse Management and SAP TM
- Should have worked on at least 2 full life cycle implementations in SAP EWM
- Should have done Requirement Gathering/Business Blue Printing in SAP EWM
- Expertise in SAP Mobile Technologies Implementations using: SAP Console/ITS Mobile/RFID for Radio Frequency Framework Solution design
- Should have sound knowledge in some of SAP ERP modules such as SD/MM/WM
- Should have strong exposure of SAP EWM Outbound, Inbound and Internal processes with VAS, Quality Inspections and EGR, Wave Management, Physical Inventory, Posting Changes
- Experience in creation of Master Data i.e. Packaging Specifications, Warehouse Organizational Structure, Settings for Handling Units etc. Must have sound knowledge and experience in configuring/modifying Post Processing Framework in SAP EWM. Along with a strong expertise in setting up the system integration between SAP ERP with SAP EWM
- Proficient in implementing Labour Management, Yard Management and Cross Docking in EWM
- Proficient experience in interface development (RFC/ALE/IDoc/Web Services)
- Extensive experience in analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation
- Experience of having worked in an onsite- offshore delivery model would be a plus
- Experience of having worked in a CMMI organization would be a plus
- Certification in SAP EWM would be a plus
Your key responsibilities
Project Delivery Responsibilities (may include some or all the following):
- Manage workload and priorities to deliver agreed upon project milestones and objectives set by the business unit or function.
- Collaborate and support other team members during requirements, design, build, and test phases.
Project demands may from time to time require work during non-standard business hours.
Skills and attributes for success
- Certification in SAP Transportation Management 9.5 or above is preferred (Not Mandatory).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 7-10 years business experience or related experience on medium to large scale projects.
- Proven record of interacting with multiple business units or functional teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate technical and business information effectively to both technical and non-technical people.
- Demonstrated conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to understand our business, work across business units, be a team player and work in a team-oriented environment.
- Experienced working with ambiguity and a fast paced and changing environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- SAP or ERP the following areas: Supply Chain Execution ABAP, Transportation Management.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Bachelors: Commerce/ Science / Engineering background from a premier institute preferred
- 10 to 15 years of experience in SAP Consulting
- Strong Communication Skills (Written and Verbal)
Ideally, you’ll also have
Technical Experience SAP Transportation Management (TM)
- Exposure to SAP Embedded SAP TM in S/4HANA is preferred.
- Must be expert in OOP ABAP coding and developments.
- Must be well versed with SAP TM BOBF Elements, Business Objects, Different Types of Nodes and Sub nodes.
- Must be comfortable in Business Object Enhancements, Custom Business Objects.
- Must be able to work in FPM UI Enhancements and customization.
Experience also needed in POWL, Post processing Framework and Process Controllers.
Exposure to SAP TM Functional Areas like - Order Management, Planning, Charge Calculation, Transportation Execution and Freight Settlement will be appreciated.
