What You’ll DoAs a SE (Solution Engineer), your primary responsibility is to provide technical guidance and sales support on the Cisco Collaboration Portfolio. You will have expertise around Cisco’s entire Collaboration Portfolio with an emphasis on the Webex SaaS solutions. You will engage with customers and explain how Cisco Collaboration technical solutions can be applied to solve business problems and speak the languages of business and technical decision makers alike.
- Explain the elements of the Cisco Collaboration SaaS solutions and architecture and how they're interconnected with all elements of the Cisco portfolio, ensuring that the features and benefits of Cisco technology are understood and valued by Customers.
- Deliver demonstrations and technical proof of concepts for customers to show the value of the Cisco Collaboration portfolio.
- Help partner technical sales teams craft innovative architectural solutions that drive strategic objectives and help differentiate partner offerings.
- Ensure the detailed features, functionality and architectural impact of Cisco technology in your designs and proposals are understood, valued and communicated.
- Travel will be a requirement of this job. Escorting customers to EBC’s, attending conferences, meeting customers in person, traveling to Collab BU locations globally.
Minimum Qualifications:
- You have a university degree in a technical discipline or equivalent
- You have at least 5 years of experience in the Collaboration field or in a SaaS sales engineering role
- You have at least 4 years of pre-sales /Systems Engineer experience
- You’re able to maintain up to date Cisco product knowledge
- You have a deep technical acuity and foundational knowledge of relevant Collaboration technology

- You invest time in learning about technology shifts, and communicate the relevant aspects to customers and partners
- Having knowledge of Cisco Internetworking equipment would be beneficial
- You prioritize personal and organizational development
- You’re able to maintain personal organization and time management
