How you’ll spend your day

Site OPEX Strategy
• Leads & implements the site OPEX transformation Strategy, Master Plan, and Governance in support of Site Strategy and KPIs
• Establishes the desired objectives, performance measures and continuous improvement targets.
Deploy and Monitor Teva Production System:
• Deploys Teva Production System, focused on: Best in class systems, tools and processes; Employee engagement and empowerment; A mindset and culture of continuous improvement; and Creating our new way of working
• Design the roadmap and targets for OPEX performance that integrates core processes, ongoing improvements and execution of the site strategy.
• Manages and assures alignment of site OPEX initiatives with Site KPIS to sustain focused continuous improvement
• Track financial and operational impact benefits on a regional level; problem solves with sites when on critical projects and ensures efficiency plans in place.
• Conducts OPEX assessments, and remediates gaps
• Implements new operational improvement activities, while leveraging key OPEX practices from across network.
Secure Capabilities & Develop People
• Assure the site has the right skills and capabilities to deliver on the transformation and Teva Production System -- coach, train and facilitate line management and change agents (incl., knowledge sharing of best practices).
• Collaborate with Global TAPI OPEX Leader to assure best practice sharing across sites (build OPEX community of practice) and owns the strategy for OPEX.


Your experience and qualifications

Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.

Education/Certification/Experience:
• Bachelor’s in Engineering required (Industrial preferred)
• 5 or more years of experience within pharmaceutical or related manufacturing facility
• Prefer previous experience in a manufacturing environment within pharmaceutical, nutraceutical or food processing industries.
• NR but Professional Engineer preferred
• NR but Six Sigma Black Belt training preferred
• Solid oral dosage manufacturing equipment knowledge a must (compression, granulation, packaging).
• Qualification of equipment experience
• TPM training
• OpEx / Lean implementation experience.
• Demonstrated Lean and/or Six Sigma expertise with a proven track record of transferring lean knowledge and methodologies across a manufacturing network.
• Significant experience in a API production environment, multiple technologies and geographies strongly preferred
• Previous experience in managing complex organizations (Production Manager, SGM, Engineering Mg, MS&T Manager)
• Ability to work in multifunctional team and influencing
• Influencing leaders and colleagues at multiple levels.
• Proven track record of delivering on efficiency targets that improve operational performance.
• Track record of developing technical capabilities in remote teams.
• Track record of managing complex projects plans
• Matrix management experience

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
• Tech. background as Chemist, Pharmacy, Engineering, etc
• Deep understanding of Lean, OpEx, Six Sigma methodology & tools. Black Belt certification is highly desired
• Strong proven proficiency in Project Management
• Ability to fully understand a P&L
• Strong OPEX and transformation knowledge.
• Advanced knowledge and understanding of both the generic and specialty product life cycle.
• In-depth knowledge of business processes and a deep understanding of the other functions supporting the TGO supply chain (finance, HR, engineering, EHS, etc).
• In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements and technical risk management.
