This Payroll Intermediate Analystrole requires a strong understanding of Expatriate Payroll process and will partner with Vialto payroll vendor, Global Mobility country coordinators, tax, finance, and regional HR/payroll contacts to ensure proper reporting and payment of expat payroll-related compensation, including expat allowances and home/host benefit deductions. This position requires the ability to work within established service level deadlines, multi-task, work efficiently, accurately and communicate with clients on critical and sensitive pay issues. Job functions include, but are not limited to, completing on/off boarding employee’s expatriate status, ensuring all payments are submitted and performing reconciliations of all inbound and out interfaces. Excellent customer service skills, high frequency of regular interactions with employees and HRs, strong attention to detail and good analytical skills are necessary.Responsibilities:

  • Manage the payroll vendor to ensure the monthly payroll processes for all of our expatriate population.
  • Coordinating the receipt of all inbound payroll interfaces
  • Provide balancing and reconciliation of payroll, inbound and outbound remittances
  • Support Expatriate Payroll manager in ensuring the end-to-end processes are met according to the monthly calendar and established procedures
  • Be proactive in identifying process improvements, system enhances and effectively manage the change
  • Provide subject matter expertise in research and analysis activities into causes of pay issues; recommend and implement approved long and short-term solutions for best practices.
  • Performs business analysis for HR and Payroll operations organization.
  • Creates and implements internal procedures and business requirements.
  • Creates and manages the business analysis and documentation of system change specifications.
  • Develops and implements user application test plans; Executes test plans and identifies discrepancies.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years relevant experience
  • In-depth specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing and/or evaluating processes and data.
  • Ability to identify policy gaps
  • Solid working experience in a related role (combination of education/experience)

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
